IICPT 2013 Exam Dates Announced


The exam dates of IICPT 2013 have been announced by the Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology for admission in undergraduate and post graduate programmes in Food Process Engineering. The exam will be held on 17th of July, 2013 and the last date to apply for exam is: 10.06.2013.
ICPT 2013 Eligibility Criteria:
  • Exam taker must have passed Class XII OR equivalent exam with the subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
  • The candidate must not be older than 21 years by the 31st of December, 2013.

The fee details for exam form are as follows:
  • The OC/OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- and ST/SC Category candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- to obtain the exam forms.
  • The candidates of SC/ST Category have to bring a proof of their category if they purchase the exam form from the IICPT Office.
  • The DDs for IICPT 2013 Application Form should be drawn in favor of “Director IICPT” and must be payable at Thanjavur.

JEE Advanced 2013 and JIPMER 2013 Exam Date Clash


The Dates of two major Entrance Exams namely – JEE Advanced and JIPMER have clashed and the candidates who have applied for both the exams are now in a dilemma. Both of the exams are going to be held on 2nd of June, 2013. JEE Advanced will held in between 9 am to 12 noon (Paper 1) and in between 2pm to 5pm (Paper 2).
JIPMER 2013 exam will be held in between 10 am and 12.30 pm.
Now the candidates who wanted to give both the exams are facing the trouble as they will be able to give only one exam. Thousands of candidates are appearing for both the exams this year and owing to this clash they have to now choose ONE exam.
They have appealed the authorities for changing the date of one exam so that students can take both of the exams. However, both the JEE Advanced and JIPMER authorities have not released any notification in this regard.

Symbiosis SET 2013 Result Declared


Symbiosis University has released the SET 2013 Result and the Score Cards can be downloaded from the following link:
The candidates can also logon to: www.set-test.org/index.htm - the official exam website and see their exam results. Every exam taker has to submit his/her SET ID and Password to download theirSET 2013 Score Cards.
The further admission information such as Cutoff etc will be available at respective institutes. The admissions will be done on the basis of SET 2013 Result only. Detailed merit list will be released soon. The Score Card will have candidate’s personal details such as their Name and exam Roll Number, their rank information, section wise and aggregate marks in exam.
All the students are advised to keep their Score Card of SET 2013 Result in good condition as it will be required at the time of admission. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling and admission process as per the schedule released by the Institute.
